It is recommended that the Board approve the attached ;
Warrant Register.
2, Cxtension of EDC/LLDC Contract �
At the April Boara Meetino, the Directors approved �
extension of the contract between the Economic Development j
Corporation and the Lynwood Local Development Company for '
services related to IIusiness l�ssistance Program. A
formal resolution is required to extend the contra.ct. I
Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution.

3.' I�LDC Brochure
Staff received cost anc7 design proposals from two
firms--Lynwood Press and the Graphic Fact--for
• development of an Informational Brochure.
Staff is recommending that the Board review the
proposals and advise staff on its decision.
�. Request for Technical Assistance Under the Busi_ness
Assi.stance Program
Sta£f has received a request and proposal for
marketing assistance from the EDC on behalf of First
California Beauty College. First California Beauty
Coll.ege is located in The Lona Beach Blvd. Facade
. Improvement area, �,�hich was targeted for services.
After reviewing the proposal and negotiating with the
principals, staff recommends approval of request.
5. Report By Economic Development Corporation of L os
Angeles County
David Roseblatt, EDC Rusiness Consultant, will
provide an update on EDC activities under this
management assistance program.
