A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ADOPTING
THE CITY'S 2010 URBAN WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN MANDATED BY THE
STATE DEPARTMENT OF WATER RESOURCES
WHEREAS, the Senate Bill SBx7-7 requires the City of Lynwood and other
water purveyors to prepare the 2010 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP); and
WHEREAS, the draft UWMP plan was completed and made available for public
comments in April, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City held a public information meeting on June 8, 2011, to
discuss the plan and to receive public comments; and
WHEREAS, the City is now required to hold a public hearing before adopting the
final plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City has considered all applicable public comments and
direct staff to incorporate them into the final Urban Water Management Plan.
Section 2. That the City adopts the final Urban Water Management Plan.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21 day of June, 2011.
