A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN
PARCEL FROM R-3 TO R-3 SPECIAL USE DISTRICT
Whereas, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as 134 South 4fh
Street, and legally described as provided and follows, to wit:
The South one-half of Lot Number Forty-one (41) in that part
of the City of Richmond laid out by John Smith, same being
situated at the northwest corner of South 4th and `B" Streets
in the City of Richmond.
as an R-3 One to Eight Family Residence District; and
Whereas, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to
an R-3 Special Use District in order to allow the occupier to maintain an
administrative office building on the premises; and
Whereas, the Petitioner has requested that Council allow for the installation of a free
standing wooden sign no larger than four (4) square feet.
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the above described property is changed to an R-3 Special Use District and such property
may contain a free standing wooden sign.
Passed and Adopted this 6th day of October 2003, by the Common
Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
