AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana has adopted a budget for the
calendar year 2003; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2003 budget be amended as follows:
A. Rose View Transit General Fund
Delete S 5, 000.00 from Contractual Labor
Existing account no. 605-57-057-000-3990
Delete S 2,000.00 from Contractual Printing
Existing account no. 605-57-057-000-3320
Delete $5,000.00 from Fleet Gasoline & Oil
Existing account no. 605-57-057-000-2211
Add S 8,000.00 to Overtime
Existing account no. 605-57-057-000-1302
Add S 4,000.00 to Temporary Wages
Existing account no. 605-57-057-000-1197
Passed and adopted this _6th day of October 2003, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
