ORDINANCE W. 74 -2,.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN
OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA, VACATING AND ABANDONING
A RIGHT -OF -WAY IN LOTS 24 AND 25, OF THE SUBDIVI-
SION OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 46 SOUTH, RANGE 43
EAST, TOWN OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA.
tIHEREAS, the owner of a portion of Lots 24 and 25 as shown on the
Plat of the Subdivision of Section 9, Township 46 South, Range 43 East,
Town -f Gulf Stream, Florida, as recorded in Plat Book 8 on Page 40,
Palm Beach County Public Records, has petitioned the Town of Gulf Stream,
Florida, for abandonment of the below described dedicated right -of -way
in said Lots 24 and 25, and
I'MEREASO said right -of -way has never been opened nor made use of,
and is not deemed needed by the Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN
OF GULF STREAM, FLORIDA:
That pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 73 -129, Laws of the
State of Florida, it is hereby determined to vacate and abandon the fol-
lowing described right -of -way:
A parcel of land in Section 9, Township 46 South,
Range 43 East, in Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the North line of Lot 24
of the Subdivision of said Section 9, according to
the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 8, page 40,
Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida, at a
distance of 622.5 feet Westerly, measured along the
North line of said LOTS 24 and 25 of said Subdivision,
from the Northeast corner of said Lot 25; thence West-
erly along the north line of Lots 24 and 11 of said
Subdivision, being also the south line of a 20 -foot
road, as shown on said plat, a distance of 214 feet,
more or less, to a point in the Easterly right -of -way line
of the Intracoastal Waterway; thence Northerly along
said Easterly right -of -way line, a distance of 20.2 feet
more or less, to a point in the North right -of -way line
of said road; thence Easterly along the North right -of -way
line of said road, a distance of 211.16 feet, more or less,
to a point; thence Southerly a distance of 20.00 feet to
the Point of Beginning aforedescribed.
Introduced by Commissioner (j.rj.,:1ALKER at a regular meeting of
the Town Commission on the 8th day of FEBRUr,RY , 1974.
