AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2003 BUDGET
WHEREAS, Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana adopted a budget for
calendar year 2003; and
WHEREAS, Common Council has determined it necessary to transfer money from one major
budget classification to another within a department or office; and
WHEREAS, the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code 6-1.1-1-1
et seq.; and
WHEREAS, this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice and
without the approval of the Department of Local Government Finance.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that the 2003 budget be amended as follows:
A. General Fund - Police Dept.
1. Delete $1,000.00 from Technical Services
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.3 170
2. Delete $36,400.00 from Telephone and Facsimile
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.32 10
3. Delete $100.00 from Sewer
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.3530
4. Delete $5,982.50 from Grant Match
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.3 975
5. Delete $4,000.00 from Computer Equipment
Existing account no. 101.10.100.140.000.4435
6. Delete $69,500.00 from Administrative Vehicles
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.4440
7. Add $12,082.50 to Gasoline
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.2211
8. Add $74,400.00 to Police PERF
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.1211
9. Add $30,500.00 to 911 Salary Contribution
Existing account no. 10 1. 10. 100. 140.000.1242
