All material stockpiled on roadways and/or roadway shoulders shall be protected with erosion control devices, such as silt fence or straw wattles.It will be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to remove any sediment that enters the Town drainage system as a result of the proposed work. 8. Equipment, staging, and stockpiles shall not be located in a manner so as to interfere with intersection sightlines and be kept in a neat and orderly fashion. 9. Public shade trees within and adjacent to the proposed work zone must be protected. The Contractor shall install individual tree protection on any public shade tree that may be impacted, and the Contractor shall not stockpile material or equipment within the drip zone of a public shade tree. 10. Contractor shall coordinate with Town Health Department on rodent control requirements.
