Home My Public Portal Abouto 99:37No 99-37 ORDINANCE APPROVING REVISED ZONING MAP OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET AND AMENDING SECTION 161-121 OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET WHEREAS, the Carteret Zoning Board of Adjustments (the "Zoning Board") has prepared a proposed revised and amended Zoning Map (the "Zoning Map") for the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough"); and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed and considered the Zoning Map; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that the Zoning Map is consistent with their goals for the Borough. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret that the revised and amended Zoning Map dated September 1999 (attached as Schedule A) is hereby approved and adopted. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Section 161-121 of the Code of the Borough of Carteret is hereby amended to delete the reference to the "Zoning Map of the Borough of Carteret dated January 1977" and' to replace it with the "Zoning Map of the Borough of Carteret dated September 1999." BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the revised and amended Zoning Map of the Borough of Carteret dated September 1999 shall take effect immediately. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Zoning Map of the Borough of Carteret dated September 1999 shall be forwarded to the Middlesex County Planning Board.
