The minutes of the meeting held March 19, 1963 and the special meeting held March 19, 1963 were read, approved and adopted. The Financial and Water Report for March 1963 was read and approved. All expenditures included in this report were approved. The minutes of the meeting of the Board of Equalization held March 27, 1963 were read, approved and adopted. Mr. Harold Roig presented a request from the Gulfstream Bath & Tennis Club for a variance in the zoning to permit the Club to construct a building of approximately 900 sq. feet. He also presented a letter of consent signed by Mr. Starky and Mrs. Stewart. Mr. Royce stated that the Club had agreed to make certain changes in the plans and he was now willing to sign the consent. It was then moved and seconded that said variance be granted. Messrs, Dodsons Hart and Iglehart voted Mr. LaPorte "abstained" and Mr. Hoyle voted "no ". A copy of this Cvariance is attached hereto and becomes a part of these minutes. The Commission instructed the Town Clerk to prepare a resolution authorizing a variance to be granted to C. P. Young to subdivide his tract of land on No. County Road into two 801 lots. This resolution to be adopted at the next regu3sr meeting. This variance is being granted in view of the fact that the neighboring property owners did not object to the variance. The Police and Offense Reports were read. A Water Analysis Report as prepared by Geotec, Inc. was read and studied. Mayor Dodson gave a report on the condition of the streets in the Town and stated that it was the recommendation of the Street Committee that all work as outlined in the proposal from Hardrivess Inc. be authorized with the substitution of Golfview Drive in place of School Road at the same price as quoted in the proposals $11,610.95 3WN®F� Mr. Hoyle requested that a price, not to exceed $650.00 for completing the re— surfacing of Palm Way be added to the proposal. It was moved and seconded that Hardrives1 Inc. be awarded the contract for the re— surfacing at their quoted price plus the addition to Palm Way at no more than $650.00. Motion passed unanimously. The Town Clerk was instructed to see if Mr. Fleming would supervise this work. —2— The Commissioners heard from Mr. T. J. Sander and Mr. Allan Duncan representing Russell & Axon, Consulting lhgineers. Their talk covered the sewer out£all system to be constructed in Delray Beach and the possibility of a sewer system in Gulfstream to be tied n: ni in with the outfall system of Delray, They requested the Town auth- ri orize a feasibility study be prepared by them at a cost of $500.00 x LC to the Town. There was also a discussion of a feasibility study of 0 0 n: the Townts water system. It was moved and seconded that the Town authorize a study of the water system be made at a cost of $500.00 subject to approval of the agreement to be submitted by them. Motion passed unanimously. Discussion of a study for a sewer system study was tabled until the next meeting, Mr. Iglehart said that the Town should consider the possi- bility of annexing the land on the North end of the Polo Field as owned by Mr. David Annan.
