OMBUDSMAN TASK FORCE
Wednesday,January 9, 2019 5:00 pm—Skaket Room
Attending: Beverly Fuller(Chair), Mary Lyttle,John Kanaga, George Waugh, and Eileen Godin
• Call to Order By Chair, Beverly Fuller
• Discuss contacting local groups with significant membership, e.g. Nauset Newcomers
o Upon discussion it was agreed that the more responses the better.
o It was agreed that an effective survey may be best sent by the Selectmen
o Information was shared that the Selectmen were interested in participating both in the
fact gathering but also by setting aside time to help towns people at town hall.
• Discuss polling groups/individuals in Orleans regarding the Ombudsman position
o A potential poll was introduced.
o Each question was scrutinized, changes were suggested and implemented
o Upon motion by John Kanaga and seconded by Beverly Fuller the poll with the changes
discussed was voted to be sent to the Selectmen for distribution
• On Motion by Beverly Fuller and Second by John Kanaga the meeting was Adjourned.
