PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES
January 23, 1973
INITIATION
1. CALL TO ORDER
The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City was called to order by Chairman Garvin at 7:30 p.m.,
January 23, 1973.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Chairman Garvin.
3. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioners - Atkins, Collister, Lawson, Garvin
Absent: Commissioners - Beckman
Also present were City Manager Koski, Asst. City Attorney White
and Planning Director Dragicevich.
Commissioner Lawson moved to excuse Commissioner Beckman's absence
for cause. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Collister and
carried.
4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - January 9, 1973
There being no additions or corrections to the minutes, Commissioner
Collister moved they be approved as written, seconded by Commissioner
Atkins, and the motion carried.

5. COMMUNICATIONS - None
6. TIME FOR THOSE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO WISH TO SPEAK - There was no one.
7. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
A. Planning Director Dragicevich informed the Commission that
the City Council, at their regular meeting of January 16,
1973, concurred with the Planning Commission recommendations
regarding undergrounding utilities and standards for drive-
way design, and the respective ordinances will be effective
in about six weeks.
B. Director Dragicevich rem,itnded the Commissioners of the City
Seminar scheduled for March 10 and 11 at Kellogg West, Pomona.
8. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Commissioner Atkins moved to adjourn
to a study session and thence to the next regular meeting of the
Planning Commission on February 13, 1973. Motion was seconded by
Commissioner Collister and carried. Meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.
