noted.
A letter from Richard Duggan was read. This letter complained
about the unsightliness of the Club's maintenance sheds. Mr. Hart
stated that he would have them painted at the end of the season.
However, he said the club could not afford to do any major land-
scaping of the area.
A letter from Col. C. P. Young was read voicing his objections
to annexing properties that do not have a minimum 100' frontage as
required by the Town.Zoning Ordinance. He further stated that he
objected to granting the Charles Lockharts permission to begin

Commission Meeting Held March 10s 1962 -2-
There was a discussion of the Town levying a tangible personal
property tax for the year 1962. William Gwynn was instructed to
contact the County Tax Assessor and learn all that he could on
the subject and report back at the next meeting.
A request for three street lights to be installed in Mr. Reed's
subdivision was presented to the Commission. Mr. Hoyle moved that
the Town authorize Florida Power & Light Company to install three
street lights. Motion was seconded and passed.
Mr. Hart was asked if he would mention the Town's new spraying
ordinance in his next mailing of the Gulf Stream Civid Assoc. so that
the townspeople could be aware of it and help to enforceit. Mr. Hart
said he would be glad to do it.
Deputy Town Clerk Gwynn said that he had not as yet received a
request from Mrs. J. Gordon King to have her property annexed along
with the others under consideration on Pelican Lane. The Commission
agreed with Mr. Gwynn that it was not the Town's responsibility to
solicit this request.
Mrs. Kirton stated recently the City of Boynton Beach had written
to the State Road Dept. urging them to keep ocean Avenue open to
traffic while the new bridge is being built. The Commission agreed
that the Town should also go on record favoring keeping the road
open since Boynton Beach furnishes fire protection to the Town. The
Commission instructed Mr. Gwynn to write the State Road Dept. inform-
ing them of the Town's wishes.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting was adjourned. — tl
