REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 3, 1'985 The Lynwood Information, 2nc., met in a regular session in the City Ha11, 11330 Bullis Road, on the above date at 7:46 p.m. Chairman Byork in the chair. Directors Morris, Rowe, Thompson and Byork answered the roll call. Director Henning was absent. A1so present were City Manager Gomez and City Attorney Yeager. The City Manager stated at the last meeting that the Board of � Directors rejected the bids submitted by Ready Productions and L& M Printing due to the lack of experience in publishing newsletters. The Board directed staff to obtain bids from additional companies. Six printers were contracted, and five responded. Del Amo Press was the second lowest bidder, who has substantial experience in producing newsletters. After discussiori, it was moved by Director Thompson,� seconded by Director Morris, that the Board authorize sta£f to use the services of Del Amo Press for the printing and paste-up of the City Newsletter on a one-time trial basis, and if their services are satisfactory, execute a contract for the remainder of the year. � ROLL CALL Ayes: Directors Morris, Rowe, Thompson, Byork Noes: None ' Absent: Director Henning RESOLUTION N0. LII 85-11 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD INFORMATION, INC., ALLOWING THE DEMANDS AND ORDERING WARRANTS DRAWN THEREFOR." was presented. It was moved by Director Morris, seconded by Director Thompson, that the resolution be adopted. ROLL CALL Ayes: Directors Morris, Rowe, Thompson, Byork Noes: None Absent: Director Henning City Clerk Hooper announced for information only the resigna- tion of Carmen Hernandez from the Cable TV Advisory Board. Nominations will be held at the meeting of September 17, 1985. It was moved by Director Rowe, seconded by Director Thompson, and carried, to adjourn to September 17, 1985. It was moved, seconded, and carried to close nominations. Appointment is in order. I
