A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE RELEASE OF A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE
MODIFICATION OF THE CORPORATE YARD BUILDING RELATING TO THE
SCADA IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 4011.67.897
WHEREAS, the design of the new SCADA system for the City water system is
well underway and its installation is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2011; and
WHEREAS, the layout of the Water Division staff office space at the Corporate
Yard building needs to be improved in order to provide better monitoring of the SCADA
monitoring and control system; and
WHEREAS, the improvements of said office space need to be designed and
project contract documents need to be prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the issuance
of a Request for Proposals for consulting services to prepare the design and contract
documents for the improvements of the Corporate Yard building in connection with the
SCADA Improvement Project, Project No.4011.67.897.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5 day of July, 2011.
