Adopt the attached Rules and Regulattons for the Commuaity Access Advisory Board; records and bank 2. Direct staff to establish separate accounting accounts for the Corporation; 3. Designate a Treasurer for the Co.rporation; 4. Adopt the attached budget schedule; ``'` 5. Set up a regular me_ting.' 6. BACRGROUND AND AiIALYSIS: 1. On May 31, 1983 the Board of Directors.of Lynwood. Information, Inc. met.to discuas the Rules and Regulations governing the Community Acceas Advisory Board. The draft set of Rules and Regulations were found to be satisfactory. Ona addition was made to the Rules. A$15 atipend was graated to the Advisory Board members. This has been incorporated into the Rules and Regulatioas. Action is needed by the Board of Directors to adoot these Rules and Re- gulations;- will need Co have its own 2. BOARD .- Z. RULES AND REGIILATIONS A. APPOINRTIENT Membership in tha Co�nunity Access P.dvisorv Board (CA.�,B) shall ' be by appointment of the 8oard o£ Directors of Lynwood Informa- tion Inc. - . B. SIZE � The CAAB.shall be composed of £ive members. -. C. TERMS OP OFFICE M�bers of t3ie Cl►AB ahall serve a maximum term of four (4) years Terms will be staggered to provide overlap o£ approximately half the members. D. SELECTIONS OF OFFICERS The CAAS shall have a Chai_�person and Vice Chairperson. Both shall be elected from and by the members of CAPiB each year at the first meeting a£ter the newly appointed members are installe E. PLACE OF MEETINGS Meetings shall be held at Lynwood City Sall in the City Council Chambers. F. REGiJ7,AR MEETINGS Regular meetings of the CAAB shall be held without call or notic on such dates and times_as may be fixed by the Board. G. QIIORIIM A majority of the m�►bers shall constitute a quorum of the Board for transactions of bnsiness. ' S. STIPEND Each member shall receive a$15.00 a month stipend £os meetings attended. - II.
