MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING
PLANNING COMMISSION
June 17, 1974
1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called. to order at 8:15 p.m. in the Council Cham-
bers of the City Hall by Chairman Lawson.
2. ROLL CALL
Present were Commissioners Breazeal,Stacy and Lawson. From the
City staff were Steve Leonetti, Public Works Coordinator, and
Planning Director Dragicevich.
3. TENTATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF GOLDEN WEST AVENUE
The City Manager's memo of June 5, 1974, and Public Works
Coordinator's memo of June 6, 1974, were discussed, and the
situation analyzed in terms of a) present and anticipated
traffic volume, b) existing land use, c). potential development
on large lots south of Hallwood Drive, d) cost of a through
street or cul -de -sac and e) the Lower Azusa Road Improvement
Project.
The Commissioners suggested that this item be continued to the
next regular meeting when at .least four Commissioners will be
in attendance. If an amendment to the General Plan is con
sidered, a public hearing should be set .and an Environmental
Impact Report is required to be prepared. If no change is re-
commended, it will be necessary to so .advise the City Council,
specifying the reasons for such recommendation.
4 ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Commissioner Breazeal made a
motion, seconded by Commissioner Stacy and passed, to adjourn
to the regular meeting of June 25, 1974. Meeting adjourned at
9:00 p.m.
