1) COnIhiISSION�R'S COh1PENSA'PIOid
The City Council at its October 16, 1979 meeting approved the
payment of $15.00 per commissioner per month for the atten-
dance of one meeting per month. The�Secretary shall notify the
Accounting Department of attendance after each meeting.
2) LETTER OF UND�RSTANDING
The City Council at its October 16, 1979 r�eeting approved the
final form of this agreement between i;he State and City, which
has.previously been approved by the Traffic and Parking Com-
mission.
3) BLUE CURB -
The City Council at its October 16, 1979 meeting, based upon the
recommendation of this commission, halted the issuance of
Handicapped Blue Curb Installations until proper guideiines
are drawn up.
4) LA�YN PARKInG
On October 11, 1979, three vehicles parked on the lawn at
4015 Ir�perial Highway were cited by the Sheriff's Department based
upon cor.�plaints received by the Traffic and Parking Commission.
5) ALL�Y CL�AidUP
I The Code Enforcement Department has informed staff that the
debris in the alley N/O Cortland Avenue between Harris Avenue
� and �ln Street was scheduled for clean up by the Contractor on
October 19, 1979.
6) PR�SS RELEASE
The October 25 edition of the Lynwood Press carries a notice
I about the time, place, and purpose of the meetings held by the
� ;raffic and Parking Commission as requested by this Commission
I at its last regular meeting.

At a regular r�eeting of the City Council on Apri:L 1f3, 1�78 the Counci.l
discussed and unani.mously a�proved a$15.00 stipend for members of the
Traffic & Parking Commission to defray their traveling costs. The
item �vas budgetecl for in 1978, but was suUsequently removed from�the
bndget due to funding constraints imposed in July, 1978.
On Au�ust 23, 1979, the Traffic and Parking Commission moved as a whole
to petition the City Council to reinstate the stipend as previously
approved.
�
If this compensation is implemented it will require an amendment to
Ordinance No. 968, Section 1, pertaining to compensation for Traffir
and Parking Commission memUers and a 1979-80 budget revision.
