The regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Temple City, was called to order.. at 7:30 p,m., March 22, 1977,
by Chairman Stacy.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Chairman Stacy led the Pledge o£ Allegiance to the Flag.
ROLL CALL':
Present:. Commissioners Atkins, Breazeal, Lawson, Seibert, Stacy
Absent: Commissioners None.
Also present: City manager Koski and Planning Director Dragicevich
4.. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Regular Meeting of March 8, 1977
There being no additions or corrections to the minutes, Commissioner
Atkins moved, to approve them as: written.' '.Motion was seconded by
Couu,iissioner Breazeal and carried.' unanimously.
5. COMMUNICATIONS,
(a) 'Commissioner Breazeal commented' on the quality of the resolu-
tions passed' at the last Planning Commission meeting, and said
they were: superbly written ,by .City,Attorney Martin,
(b) Commissioner Breazeal referred to the 'City Council minutes
of March 15, 1977, at which meeting the Mayor presented a plaque,
on behalf of. the City Council, to Carl Clark . in recognition of
his service on the Parking and the Planning Commissions. Mr.
Breazeal commended this action as, in his opinion, Mr. Clark was
a great asset in his services to the City and the community: The
rest of the Commissioners were in agreement.:,
6. TIME FOR THOSE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO WISH TO. SPEAK
No one came forward.
At 7 :50 p.m.:the Planning Commission convened `. to a study session in
the North Meeting Room to discuss the formation of a committee or busi-
ness association that will work on the improvement of the downtown busi-
ness district. Chairman Stacy reconvened the regular meeting of the
Planning Commission at:.9:15.p.m.,
7.. MATTERS FROM CITY OFFICIALS
(a) Environmental Quality and Code
Enforcement Program Report.
The Director referred to the report prepared by Assistant Planner
Richards, on violations and complaints received for the period
February 19 through March 18, -1977, and those cases closed during
that period, as, well as an up-date on property nuisance cases at
6131 Camellia and 5033 Fratus. He concluded by giving the status .
of the problem of the parking /storing of recreational vehicles be-
hind the Waade Realty office, In reply to Commissioner Seibert's
question, he said they had verification of fees being charged for
space at this location, but the. City was working with the City
Attorney as there were other considerations involved,
