VI COMMISSIONER ORALS � � j � VII � ADJOURNMENT Regular meeting —May 20, 2004 i � � -� � � . � CITY OF LYNWOOD REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD THURSDAY, MARCH 18, 2004 The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood, California was held on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Lewis at 5:04 p.m. Roll call was taken by Gail L. Black, Personnel Officer. Vice-Chairperson Johnston was absent. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Commissioner Bradley. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The rnotion was made by Commissioner Littlejohn and seconded by Chairperson Lewis to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of February 19, 2004. All in favor, Motion carried. PUBLIC ORALS - None STUDIES & REPORTS Ms. Black briefly explained the process of certification of eligibility lists. The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen-Grayson and seconded by Commissioner Littlejohn to approve the eligibility lists for the positions of � Neighborhood Preservation Specialist and Capital Improvement Project Manager. All in favor. Motion carried. ' COMMISSIONER ORALS , The board was pleased that Commissioner Gilpen-Grayson recovered from her illness and were glad to have her back. • Commissioner $radley indicated that she was happy to be part , of the commission and will be asking several questions until she gets familiar with the board's responsibilities. She also requested a list with the commissioners' names, addresses and telephone numbers: ADJOURNMENT The motion was made by Commissioner Gilpen and seconded by Commissioner Littlejohn to adjourn to the regular meeting of April 15, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 5:18 p.m. �� t ;� City of ��NWOOD � �;�� • • . Mr. Johnston expressed his tl�anks to the Mayor and City Council for the confidence they had placed in him by his appointrnent to the boazd.
