MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS

Present: Chair Belinda Eyestone; Members G. Howard Hayes & Diane Salomon; Deputy
Assessor James Gallagher; Senior Department Assistant Erika Mawn
Call to Order : Ms . Eyestone called the meeting to order at 5 : 34pm without Ms . Salomone present. Ms .
Salomone joined the meeting at 5 : 37pm.
1 . Report of the Deputy Assessor : Mr. Gallagher reported we have completed the boat excise bills .
Mr. Gallagher has completed all inspections associated with abatement applications .
2 . Classified Land Applications (Chapter 61 , 61A, 6113) : Mr . Gallagher presented one Chapter 61A
renewal application for Robert Allard — Parcel ID 138 -30 & 138 - 35 . Mr. Hayes moved to approve .
Ms . Eyestone seconds . Approved unanimously.
3 . Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Minutes ; November 25, 2019 : Mr . Hayes moved
to approve the November 25 , 2019 minutes as presented. Ms . Eyestone seconds the motion.
Approved unanimously .
(Ms . Salomone joins the meeting at 5 : 37pm)
4 . Topics the Chair did not reasonably anticipate : Mr . Gallagher presented a boat excise abatement
application for Gary Kaser, the taxpayer describes as a duck blind . After discussion Mr. Hayes
motions to abate the boat excise bill . Ms . Eyestone seconds . Approved unanimously.
Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of, any general or special law or federal
grant-in-aid requirements : MGL Chap . 59 § 60 and MGL Chap . 214 § 1B)
At 5 : 39 pm Ms . Eyestone made the motion to go into Executive Session for the reason noted above, not
to return to regular session. Mr. Hayes seconds the motion . Roll call vote : Hayes — Aye; Eyestone —
Aye; Salomone — Aye; approved unanimously.
