Minutes of the June 13 , 2019 Meeting
Members Present : Lisa Forhan, Steve Seaver, Ralph Marotti, Ned Chatelain, Vanessa Greene
Guests Present: Jill Scalise (Housing Coordinator)
1 . Call to Order: Meeting called to order.
2 . Minutes : The minutes were approved as submitted .
3 . Updates from Housing Coordinator: Jill Scalise shared information from her May
Housing Coordinator Update including :
➢ Discussion of community outreach and education including a report on the May
23rd Housing Forum and Housing Fan which was well-attended with 60
individuals and 14 outside organizations in attendance.
➢ Updates on the Brewster Affordable Housing Trust and draft goals for which they
are soliciting public comment.
➢ Report on the Millstone Road Parcel including the recent receipt of the pre-
feasibility study and Requests for Quotes (RFQs) .
A Information on the Subsidized Housing Inventory and updates on a recent HAC
lottery for White Rock Commons .
➢ Updates on the ADU by-law and recent activity .
➢ Discussion of the closure of Wingate Assisted Living scheduled for August.
4 . Partnership Chair and Secretary Discussion : The group discussed the Chair and
Secretary roles and noted that the current structure was working well . The group voted to
retain Lisa Forhan as the Chair and Vanessa Greene as the Secretary.
5 . Items not reasonably anticipated by the Chair: The group discussed the upcoming
meeting for July in coordination with the Housing Trust in which the MCI program will
be discussed. Jill noted she would investigate coordination and the process for posting of
the agendas as it will be a joint meeting .
