Call to Order : Meeting called to order. 2 . Fall Cleanup Report: Diane provided an update on the fall clean-up performed at Huckleberry Lane. Diane answered questions about the work performed and Jill Scalise provided an overview of the collaborative effort, thanking Diane for her efforts At in coordinating. 3 . Updates from Housing Coordinator: Jill Scalise discussed the Millstone Road Community Engagement session and requested the Housing Partnership consider attending the next Millstone Property Community Engagement session on Thursday, November 7 in lieu of the regularly scheduled BHP meeting. The Partnership agreed . Jill discussed recent housing initiatives including a grant that will be on the Town Meeting warrant and rehabilitation of units in the Subsidized Housing Inventory. She informed the Partnership that a 60 day foreclosure notice was received on one of the SHI units. The Bank has been working with the Department of Housing and Community Development so that the affordability restriction will continue through foreclosure . Ralph inquired as to the status of Brewster Woods and Jill provided an update. 4 . Approve minutes of previous meeting: Minutes from the September meeting were approved. 5 . Standing Updates : CPC has not met since the last meeting. Housing Trust updates At were previously covered. 6 . Items not reasonably anticipated by the Chair: None. 7 . Meeting adjourned . The meeting began in the professional development room at 2 : 15 p .m . with Keith Gauley, Martha Dunford, Colleen Lawless , Missy Carpenter, Liz Stapleton, Suzie Barker and Laureen Barnes in attendance . The Principal ' s Reports from December and January were shared with the council . Keith highlighted several items from both reports such as our Holiday Concert, a guest Storyteller, Len Cabral, and our upcoming Fitness & Literacy Celebration being held on January 22°d Rebecca Bunce, SBES Reading Specialist, was awarded a $ 500 . 00 grant for Family Literacy from Cape Cod 5 . Mr. Gauley also won $200 . 00 more on a raffle drawn during the reception. Keith will purchase SEL books from Barnes and Noble with the new found money. Missy spoke about the Child Protection Curriculum Parent Meeting which took place on January 16th . An overview of curriculum and lessons on safety were given to the 9 parents that attended . These lessons overlap with the second step curriculum and teach about safe touches and recognizing an unsafe situation. The rest of the meeting was reviewing the questions for the Parent Survey which the council created during the November meeting .
