. MINUTES THE SPECIAL MEETING OF Mav 25 2004
The special meeting of the Lynwood Women's Commission of the City of Lynwood,
California was held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at 3:00 p:m. in the City Councii
Chamber. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act.
In attendance:
Verna Culp, Chair
Ethel Pacheco, Vice-Chair
Maria Lopez, Commissioner
Mary Sue Lewis, Commissioner

Carol DeJesus, Staff Liaison ,
Crystal Sahagun, Minutes Clerk

ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
Commissioner Culp called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was
, lead by Commissioner Lewis.
Approval of Minutes:
Commissioner Culp moved to approve the minutes of the regular meeting heid on
April 13, 2004. '
DISCUSSION ITEMS
I The Commissioner discussed the upcoming NACW Convention that they would be
� attending. They went over some of the details available about the convention with staff
` Liason Carol DeJesus.

� Commission Culp asked the commissioners to be prepared to discuss the October
I Conference at the next regular meeting.
l i Commissioner Lewis asked if the LWC would have any souvenirs with the City Logo on
! it to take to the NACW convention.

Staff Liaison DeJesus told the commissioners that they would talk about the details and
finalize everything next time they met because all of the convention detaiis were not
available at the moment. She then told the commission that today was the deadline for
registration and everything was going to be taken care of. The commission then agreed
to meet later to go over the details.
Since there nothing further to discuss the meeting was adjourned .
