COMM�SSIONER ORALS VIII ADJOURNMENT Regutar meeting — Apri� 21, 2005 Motion Second Vote � ' I CITY OF LYNWOOD REGULAR MEETING OF THE PERSONNEL BOARD THURSDAY,FEBRUARY17,2005 The regular meeting of the Personnel Board of the City of Lynwood, California was held on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Lynwood City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, Lynwood, California. The agenda was duly posted as prescribed by the Brown Act. CALL TO ORDER Chairperson Bradley called the meeting to order at 5:05 pm. Roll call was taken by Gail L. Black, Personnel Officer. Commissioner Jingles was excused. PLEDGE OF ALIEGIANCE Led byVice-Chaiperson Quinonez. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The motion was made by Vice-Chairperson Quinonez and seconded by Commissioner Villanueva to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of January 20, 2005. All in favor. Motion carried. PUBLIC ORALS — None STUDlES & REPORTS - None " COMMISSIONER ORALS � Vice-Chairperson Quinonez asked how the recruitment process for the Ciry Manager position was going. Ms. Black responded that the recruitment process was being handled through an outside agency that handles recruiting. The recruitment process started in November of 2004 and is now in the stages of negotiating a contract with the candidate, and it is anticipated that the new City Manager wilf be aboard in mid March. Chairperson Bradley announced that on March 17th there will be a ceremony at Bateman Hall to honor women's month and extended an invitation to all the members. She also informed the board that on the East side of the parking lot of Bateman Hall a biliboard was just installed with a picture of the new Senior Center. She is excited and is looking forward to the ground breaking ceremony. ADJOURNMENT The motion was made by Vice-Chairperson QuiRonez and seconded by Commissioner Villanueva to adjourn to the regular meeting of March 17, 2005 at � 5:00 pm.
