DIRECTING THE ISSUANCE OF A RAFFLE LICENSE TO
CARTERET HONORARY PBA LOCAL 447, DIVINE MERCY PARISH,
GRAND COURT OF NEW JERSEY, ORDER OF THE AMARANTH,
LIONS EYE RESEARCH FOUNDATION OF NEW JERSEY, INC., AND
THE ROTARY CLUB OF CARTERET
WHEREAS, application has been properly made to the Mayor and Council of
the Borough of Carteret by Carteret Honorary PBA Local #47, Divine Mercy
Parish, Grand Court of New Jersey, Order of the Amaranth, Lions Eye
Research Foundation of New Jersey, Inc. and the Rotary Club of Carteret;
and
WHEREAS, it appears that the applicants are qualified to be licensed and the
members designated to conduct RAFFLES and to assist are bona fide members
of the applicant; and
WHEREAS, the applicants have signified that the games will be played in
accordance with Rules 6, 7 and 8 of the Legalized Gaines of Chance Control
Commission's Regulations; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, that the Municipal Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to execute the endorsement of the Mayor and Council by
issuing proper presentation of application and fees, a RAFFLE LICENSE to the
applicants;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be sent
forthwith to the Legalized Games of Chance Control Commission, P.O. Box
46000, Newark, New Jersey 07101.

I hereby certify that this Resolution is a true copy of the original
adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex State of New Jersey, at the Council Meeting held on
January26, 2012
