ORDINANCE NO. 356
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE VI OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MCCALL, IDAHO, CONCERNING FIRE REGU-
LATIONS , BY ADDINGA NEW SECTION THERETO PROHIBITING
BURNING OF ANY GARBAGE, RUBBAGE, DECAYING MATTER, DEAD
ANIMALS OR REFUSE OF ANY KIND OUTSIDE OF A BUILDING AT
ANY TIME WITHIN THE CITY; EXCEPTING THEREFROM BURNING
OF LEAVES , PINE NEEDLES , WEEDS AND OTHER VEGETATION, IN
A SAFE PLACE UPON RECEIPT OF A PERMIT THEREFOR FROM THE
FIRE CHIEF; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1. Chapter 2 of Title VI of the Village Code
of McCall, Idaho, is hereby amended by adding a new section
thereto to be numbered 6-2-2 , to read as follows :
Section 6-2-2 : PROHIBITING BURNING OF CERTAIN MATERIALS ,
PROVIDING EXCEPTIONS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY:
I shall be unlawful to burn any garbage, rubbish,
decaying matter, dead animals or refuse of any kind
outside of a building at -any time within the city,
excepting therefrom burning of leaves , pine needles ,
weeds and other vegetation in a safe place upon redeipt
of a written permit therefor from the Fire Chief and ,._
providing , further ' that any person shall upon conviction
of a violation thereof be fined in any sum not exceed-
ing $100.00 together with costs of prosecution.
