HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 359 - Zoning District Amendment ORDINANCE NO. �5 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO ZONING DISTRICT; AMENDING SECTION 3-4-1 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, BY ADDING ZONE "G" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT, THERETO; AMENDING TITLE 3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, TO ADD A NEW CHAPTER THERETO TO BE DESIGNATED CHAPTER 17; PROVIDING RESTRICTIONS IN SAID ZONE "G" AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT; AND RECLASSIFYING CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY. BE. IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 3-4-1 of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "3-4-1: NAMING ZONING DISTRICTS: For the purpose of this Chapter the City shall be and is hereby divided into zoning districts as follows: Zone "A" Residence Zone Zone "B" Residence Zone Zone "C" Commercial Zone Zone "D" Industrial Zone Zone "E" Unrestricted Zone Zone "F" Planned Development District Zone "G" Agricultural District The boundaries of the zones designated by this Chapter shall be established by indicating said boundaries upon the "Map of Zoning" as adopted by this ordinance. Section 2. That Title 3 of the Village Code of McCall, Idaho, be and the same is hereby amended by ,the addition of a new chapter to be known and designated as Chapter 17 , to read as follows: 3-17-1. Restrictions in Zone "G" Agricultural District: (a) There shall be no more than one residence per 10 acres except that, on any lot or parcel of record as of the date of this ordinance which is less than ten acres, there may be one residence; (b) In the Zone "G" Agricultural District no uses shall be permitted except such residential uses and the following agricultural uses: livestock raising, crop porduction, nurseries, orchards, and truck farming but only primarily for the domestic use of the products and animals by the family residing on the premises involved; (c) No use shall be permitted which is (i) hazardous from fire, (ii) hazardous from traffic, (iii) offensive from odor, smoke, smell, dust, or noise, (iv) offensive from refuse, water born waste, or other waste matter, (v) or which creates unhealthy or unsightly conditions. 3-17-2. Reclassification of Lands: All land which lies in Section 6, T. 18 Ni. , R. 3 E. , and in Section 1, T. 18 N. , R. 2 E. , which is not in the McCall Sewer District and which is within the City limits of McCall and all land designated as Agricultural on the General Plan Map of McCall shall be included in Zone "G" Agricultural District.
