AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO LICENSES; AMENDING SECTION 4-
3-7 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, TO INCREASE
LICENSE FEES FOR STREET CARNIVALS, TENT, . STREET SHOWS,
ETC. ; AMENDING SECTION 4-3-8 OF THE VILLAGE .CODE OF
McCALL, IDAHO, TO EXCEPT CERTAIN ORGANIZATIONS FROM.
PAYMENT OF -FEES; AMENDING'- SECTION 4-3-10 OF THE VILLAGE
CODE 'OF McCALL°;. IDAHO, TO 'INCREASE HAWKER LICENSE FEES;
AMENDING SECTION. 4-3-11 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF McCALL,
IDAHO, TO_ PROVIDE ADDITIONAL ,EXCEPTIONS FROM PAYMENTS
OF . FEES;. AND..AMENDING SECTION .4'-3-15 .OF. THE VILLAGE
CODE OF McCALL, IDAHO, TO INCREASE PEDDLER LICENSE
FEES, ,`
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: ,
Section 1. That Section 4-3-7 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be', and the same is hereby .amended to read as
follows:
4-3-7: STREET CARNIVALS, TENT, STREET SHOWS, ETC.-FEE:
A license tax is. hereby levied and assessed on each
street carnival or other tent or street. show. or perfor-
mance not hereinbefore specified and taxed, the. sum of
t�ae�ty- �e-de��a9--E$��-29} fifty dollars (.$50. 00) per
day, and the sum of €ire twenty-five
dollars ($25. 00) per day on each- side show, or other
attraction or concession .nbt. under the management and
control of said .street carnival or tent or street show
or „performance above mentioned.
Section That Section 4-8-8 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
4-3-8 :' EXCEPTIONS : A license tax shall not be re-
quired or collected when any City of McCall. lodge,
church, civic body or .civic group shall put on, manage
or sponsor any street carnival or other tent or street
show -or Verformanc.e for the community benefit- .of the ✓”
VI-Hage- City.
Section 3. That Section 4-3-10 of the Village . Code of
McCall, Idaho; be, and the same is hereby amended to read -as
follows:
4--3-10: HAWKER -LICENSE FEE: . A license tax is hereby
levied and assessed on each and every hawker in the sum
twenty-five dollars ($25 . 00)
per day.
Section 4. That Section 4-3-11 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and the -same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
4-3-11: ADDITIONAL ..EXCEPTIONS: No charge or .assessment
of any kindshall be ,made or levied on 'any McCall
Resident or on any wagon or vehicle ems=the-3�eeee
therete-attaehed.; or on the -owner bringing produce or
provisions to any of the markets that may be 'established
in the V4:1-1age City or on the streets contiguous thereto,
provided said huckstering is carried on in conformance
with the rules and .regulations to be made from- time to
time by the Beard-e-E Fr�dstee-s- Mayor and Council pursuant
to the applicable provisions of . State laws.
Section, _;. - That Section 4-3-15 of the Village Code of
McCall, Idaho, be, and- the same is hereby amended to read as
follows•
4-3-15: PEDDLER. LICENSE FEE: A license tax is hereby
levied and assessed on each and every peddler of goods ,
wares or merchandise of any character, wh:ather a peddler'
on foot or by and from a vehicle the sum of tei�-dellae
J$10709} twenty-`five dollars ($25 . 00) per day.
