HomeMy Public PortalAboutOrd. 345 - Exchange of Real PropertyCITY OF McCALL, IDAHO ORDINANCE NO. 345 AN ORDINANCE EXPRESSING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF McCALL,, IDAHO, TO EXCHANGE CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO SUCH CITY AND NOT USED FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES; SETTING A DATE FOR SUCH EXCHANGE; DESCRIBING SAID REAL PROPERTY; SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING UPON SUCH PROPOSITION; AND SETTING FORTH THE TERMS UPON WHICH SUCH EXCHANGE SHALL BE MADE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council of the City of McCall, Idaho, does hereby express its intention to exchange cer- tain real property of the City of McCall, which said property is not used for public purposes and is more par- ticularly described as follows, to -wit: A tract of land in the NE1/4NE% of Section 9, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, B.M., Valley County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the section corner common to Sections 3, 4, 9 and 10, Township 18 North, Range 3 East, B.M., Valley County, Idaho; thence South 0°01'40" West along the section line common to said Sections 9 and 10, 416.00 feet to a steel pin; thence South 89°59'20" West, 25.00 feet to the real point of beginning; thence North 0°01'40" East, 196.00 feet to a steel pin; thence South 89°59'20" West, 329.00 feet to a steel pin; thence South 0°01'40" West, 26.54 feet to a point; thence South 62°45' East, 369.97 feet to the real point of beginning. Said tract contains 0.84 acres more or less, subject to easements of record or in use. Section 2. In the event that no objection is made to said exchange in the form and in the manner as provided by law, such exchange shall be held at 7:00 o'clock P.M., Monday, December 1, 1975, at the McCall City Hall. Section 3. A public hearing shall be held upon the above proposition which said hearing shall be held at the City Hall in the City of McCall, Idaho, on Monday, the 3rd day of November, 1975, at the hour of 7:00 o'clock P.M. of such day. Section 4. Such tract shall be exchanged for other real property of not less than the appraised value thereof, as provided by Section 50-1405, Idaho Code. Copies of the appraised value of such tracts are on file in the office of the City Clerk and are available for public inspection. Passed and approved this 6th day of October, 1975.
