AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF
CARTERET TO PROHIBIT THE IMPROPER DISPLAY OF HANDICAPPED
PARKING PERMITS OR PLACARDS
BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Council of the Borough.of Carteret that the Code
of the Borough of Carteret be and is hereby amended and supplemented to provide as
follows:
Section 1. Improper Display of Handicapped Parking Permits or
Placards. It shall be a violation of this Code to fail to properly
display, or otherwise improperly display, a handicapped parking
permit or placard.
Section 2. Any Violation of this ordinance shall be subject to the penalty
provisions of Section 1 -17 of this Code.
Section 3. All Ordinances mid/or provisions thereof inconsistent with the
provision of this Ordinance shall be and are hereby repealed as to
the extent of any such inconsistencies.
Section 4. If any section, subsection, part, clause or phrase of this Ordinance
shall be declared invalid by judgment of any Court of competent
jurisdiction, the section, subsection, part, clause or phrase shall
be deemed to be sever able from the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect upon passage and publication
according to applicable law.
