Instructors shall fully acquaint their studentndth these rules and shall be responsible for Vie conduct of students under their direction during the dual instruction. V.hen a student is flying solo, it shall be his sole responsibility to observe and abide by these rules. 5. No person or persons, except airmen, duly aut'r rized personnel, passengers going to or from the airport, or other 1)ersoas beim; personally conducted by air,len or airport attendants shall be permitted to enter the landing area proper. This does not give any person or persons so excepted the privilege of unrestricted use of this space. These privileges are confined to tie necessary use of this space in connection with flights, inspections or routine duties. 5. ,Aircraft shall be properly blocked and tied down by the owner or operator when partied for overnight or when conditions otherwise warrant. 6. No motor vehicle shall be driven onto the landing area proper without the exiress pe r7i ssion of the Airport "anager or his designated repre- sentative, nor otherwise than in accordance with his ibstructions. 7. No automobile shall be par'�d on Vae airport property Except in areas designated for tl-at purpose by the "airport Manag;er. SECTION 7V TAXII'M RULES 1. No person shall taxi an aircraft to or from the hangar line or to or fror_, an approved parking s4)ace until he has ascertained that there will be no danger of collision with any person or object in the immediate area by visual inspection of the area and, *-mn available, through inforrzation furniskied by airport attendants. 2. No aircraft shall be taxied except at a safe and reasonable speed. 3. "3o aircraft not equipped with adequate brakes shall be taxied near buildings or parked aircraft unless an attendant is at a wing of the aircraft to assist the pilot. !m. Aircraft landing or taking off shall conform to the attached air traffic patterns which are rade supplerrnt to these rules. .SECTION VI FIR& REGULATIONS 1. All ixersons uving in any way the airport area or the facilities of the airport shall exercise the utmost care to guard against fire and injury to persons and property. 2. '..o person shall con-iuct any welding or open flame operations in or adjacent to any hanger orouildin;;, unless specifically authorized by the Airport '.-ana;er. 3. No person shall store or stock material or equipment in such a rr.mner as to constitute a f--re hazard. 24. No person ehall operate any radio equipment in £tnv aircraft when such aircraft is in a hzingar. 5. No person shall smoke, within fifty feet of the aircraft. i t 6. ;No aircraft shall be fueled vrhile the engi:ie is running or ;,bile such aircraft is in the har.;ar. 7. UT{CMII�TC/IT�V+II PENALTIES ji addition to penalties at?wnv se provided, any person violating these rules or refusing to comply therewith may be dromptly reniDved or ejected from the airport by or under the authority of the Airport ..:anger, and upon the order of the t?irport °.`tanager may be deprived of the further use of the airport and its facilities for such length of ti: e as Tra.: be required to insure the safeguarding of the sar.e and tiie public and its int.,;rests therein. These rules shall be posted in the Administration i3uilding and in each hangar.
