The Mayor and City Treasurer joined this meeting where the Governor outlined some possible funding from the Cares Act to assist Cities with Public Health and Safety. At the time this Agenda Bill was written there was not much information; however, once the parameters of the grant are determined, Cities will have a short time frame of which to respond. The Mayor requested that this item be placed on the agenda, giving him and the Treasurer an opportunity to share what they learned and bring forth any new information.
