A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING
THE DESTRUCTION OF SEVEN EXISTING WATER WELLS (NUMBERS 1, 3, 4, 6, 7,
15A AND 20), PROJECT NO'S. 4011.67.878, 890 AND 943 AS BEING COMPLETE;
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PROCESS THE RECORDATION OF
THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on December 15, 2009, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
awarded a contract in the amount of $275,500 for the Destruction of seven Existing
Water Wells (Numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 15A and 20) Project No's. 4011.67.878, 890 and
943 to Palm Spring Pumps, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the project started on March 8, 2011 and was completed on June
29, 2011; and . '
WHEREAS, the project is funded through the Water Fund, the 1999 Water Bond
and the 2008 Water, Bond; and
WHEREAS, the final construction,` cost is $360,569.05; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on June 29, 2011
and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans and
specifications. .
NOW, THEREFORE,'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER, AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Destruction of seven existing Water Wells (numbers 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 15a and 20), project
no's. 4011.67.878, 890 and 943 as complete in accordance with contract documents,
and authorizes the City Engineer to process the recordation of the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this Resolution. -:, �
