Be it ordained by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the
Village of McCall,Boise Courity,Idaho.
Section I. There is levied and shall be paid to the Village Clerk, of
the VilL::ge of McCall,for general revenue purposes,Lt license ta::,for which
a license must be obtained before commencing or continuing business within
the limits of the Vi1l..age of lcCali,for the purposes hereinafter named,
for which the Village Clerk must r eciuire the payment,as fo11o:•r �:
. 'om each proprietor or keeper of a saloon,the Surf of One Hundred Dollars,
per annum,or fraction thereof.

From the proprietor or keeper of a bill ard,pool,or other tables on which
games are played in the same builclin ,the sum of Ten Dollars,per canner ,or
fraction thereof. (3)
From the propretor or beeper of a bowling alley or shooting gallery,the
sum of Ten dollar s,per annun,or fraction the::eof.

general merchandise store the sum of Fifteen Dollars,per annum,or fraction

the sum of Ten Dcllars,pe annlun,or fraction thereof.

Section 2. That all licenses issued by virtue of this ordinance,3hall
(~ )e dated the day of issue,and shall be legal and valid from the first
day of July for each and every year,but no license .shall be is.iueci for
period of time beyond July 1,st following the date of issue.
Section 3. Every person,firm o. corporation who commences any occupation
or business aS enumerated herein,or continued any occupation or business
as enumerated herein for which a license i:3 requirecl,without taking out
or procuring Such license,dhall be deemed }iIINNN guilty of a violation
of this oriinance,and on conviction thereof,shall be fined in a sun not
ess that Twenty Five Dollars and •not more than Seventy rive Dollars,
together with the costs,and shall be committed to jail until the fine
and cost are paid.,
Section 4. Against any firn,person or corporation required to take out
license,who fails,r,eglect•s or refuses to take out such license,or carries
On,or attempts to carry on business without such license,the Village
lerk,inay direct suit. in the name of the Village of Mc^a11,as plaintiff,
to be brought for the recovery of the license tax,ancl -in such case,he nay
matte the necessary aft idavits, including the affidavit the writ of
attachment ,which may be issued without any bond being given in behalf of
the plaintiff ,and in the event of a recove.y by the plaintiff,the sum of
Twenty -,ive Dollars,nust be included —in the jucl„er.1ent and cost to be
collected from the defendant.
