AN ORDINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF RAISING REVENUE AND PLACING A LICENSE
TAX ON SHOWS PEDDLERS AND HAWKERS.
Be it ordained by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village
of McCall,Boise County,Idaho.
Section I.
There is levied and shall be paid to the Villagd Clerk,
of the Village of McCall,a license tax as follows:
.Section 2. From the manager of every traveling theater,the sum of one
dollar per day or five dollars per week.
Section 3. From the keeper or proprietor of every circus,caravan,or
menagerie, the sum of��U dollars ,per day.
Section 4. From the proprietors,rnanagers,leasees of all other shows or
exhibitions not herein enumerated,the sure of 02_ L dollars,
per 7,/r ,
Section 5. Frorn Uach peddler of merchandise,one dollars,ner day,and any
person or firrn who shall continuously run a wagon for the purpose
of peddling or selling meats and farm products,the sum of five dollars
for three months,provided hov;ever,there is excepted from the provisions
of this ordinance,farmers and persons peddling products of their own
farms or of their own production.
Section 6.From each hawker,the sure of three dollars per day.Every person
who offers goods for sale by out —cry on the street or shall conduct a
business from a stand and not having a permanent place of business within
the Village of McCall,shall be deemed a hawker under this ordinance.
Section 7. Every person who commences any business,trade,profession for
the transaction or carrying on for which a license is required by this
o rdinance,without taking out or procuring such licanse,shall be deemed
guilty of a violation of this ordinance,and on conviction thereof,shall
be fined in the sum of not less that five dollars,nor exceeding fifty
dollars,for each offence.
