Moab City Hall, Moab, Utah, March 2, 1955, City Councilman
R. E. Mohler presented and moved the adoption of the following resolution:
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City of Moab a proposed
contract with the Duncan Farki.ng Meter Corporation by the terms of whiCh
said -Corporation agrees to furnish and install 150 Duncan -hiller meters
Model 6- at the agreed price of $61.75 per meter upon terms and conditions
as therein fully set forth, which said contract is believed to be a fair
one and one which it is advisable for the City to enter into:
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor of Moab City be, and he
is hereby authorized to execute said contract and the City Recorder of
Moab is hereby authorized and directed to attest, countersign and affix
the corporate seal of said City to the said contract.
The motion to adopt the foregoing resolution was seconded by Councilman
L. L. Robertson, and a yea and nay vote was taken upon the adoption
thereof with the following result:
All Councilmen present voted "yea". More than a majority of the whole
number of members elected to the City Council having voted "yea", the
Mayor declared the motion carried, the resolution adopted and the execu-
tion of the contract duly authorized.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Councilman L. L. Robertson and carried by the affirmative vote of all
Councilmen.
