ORDINANCE NO.22.
An ordinance declaring the intention of the Village of McCall,Idaho ,
to establish a local improvement district in the Village of McCall,Idaho,
to be known as Local Sidewalk Improvement District No,I , ; to construct it
sidewalks therein,and remove old sidewalks where necessary for the
pnstruction of new ones ; stating the names of the streets to be improved
and the points between which the said improvements are to be made ; describing
the general character of the proposed improvements ; giving the estimate
cost of the same ; stating the intention to assess the cost of the same
against the property abutting,fronting,contiguous or tributary to such
improvements and included in the proposed improvement district and on such 41
streets proposed to be improved ; stating the method by which the expense ►
of the improvements to be constructed in the space formed by the inter-

'action of streets and the space opposite the alleys is to be paid ;
and fixing the time in which protests against such proposed improvements
may be filed in the office of the Village Clerk.
Be it ordained by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the
Village of McCall,Idaho.
action I. It is hereby declared to be the intention of the Village
of McCall,Idaho ,to establish a local improvement district in the Village
of McCall,Idaho ,in the original townsite,according to the amended plat
of McCall,and in McCallts First Addition to McCall,Idaho, to be known as
Local Sidewalk Improvement District No. I. ,the specific boundaries to be
as follows:
Said district shall include the following lots and blocks ,together with
the space to the center of the street,ajacent to said lots and blocks
to which said sidewalks are to be constructed and to the center of the
alleys in each block named.

lot A block I ; lots S and C block 4 ; lots I to 20 inclusive block I ;
lots I to 20 block 2 ; lots I to I0 inclusive block 3 and lot 20 block 3 ;
lots I to II inclusive bolck 4.

The names of the streets to be improved and the points on said streets
"hetween which improvements are to be constructed,are as follows:
On the east side of First street from Lake to Park streets ;south side or
Lake street from First street to Fourth street ; west side of Third street
...rom Lake street to the alley in block 3 ; on the east side of Second
street from Lake to Park streets ; on the west side of Second street from
Lake to Park streets ; on the south side of Lenora street from First to
Third streets ; on the north side of Lenora street from First to Thtbrd
streets,and on the east side of Third street from Lenora street to Lake
street,along bloc$ I
section 2. That it is the intention of the Village of McCall,Idaho ,to
remove all old sidewalks as dangerous and unsafe where it is necessary to
construct new sidewalks within the proposed district as aforesaid,and to
construct new sidewalks therein along said streets between the points
above mentioned.
Said sidewalks to be made of lumber,two inches thick,and
laid on 2 X ` inch stringers,two feet apart.
The sidewalks shall be of the following widths :
Lake street IO feet ; both sidewalks on Lenora street 6 feet ; on First
street 6 feet ; both sides Second street 8 feet ; both sides Third street
8 feet . Said sidewalks to extend to the established curb lines at street
intersections and connect with the street crossings and conform to the
provisions of ordinance F0. 16 as to slope and grade with the streets as
nearby as practical.
Section 3. That the estimated cost of the proposed improvements as
estimated by the Commitee on Streets and Alleys and concurred in by
the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall,Idaho,now on file in
the office of the Village Clerk,is as follows:
For 85 ,000 feet of lumber #1020.00

Total cost 41340.00
Section 4. It is however provided,that the expense of all improvements
in the space formed by the intersection or junction of streets and the
space opposite the alleys shall be born and paid for by the Village of
LcCall,Idaho.
Section 5. That it is the intention of the Village of McCall,Idaho ,
to assess the rompftiamong cost of the proposed improvements against the
property in the proposed district ,abutting,fronting,contiguous or
tributary to the proposed improvements.
Section 6. That the period of time commencing at 9 o'clock a.m. ,December
17th I915,and ending at 6 o ' clock p.m. ,December 2 th I915,is hereby fixed
and designated as the time within which protests against said proposed
improvements may be filed in the office of the Village Clerk.
Section 7. That a map of the proposed district ,showing the plans and
general character of the proposed improvements is on file in the office
of the Village Clerk,for inspection.
Section 8. This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after
its passage ,approval,and publication in the Long Valley Advocate,for
two successive issues of said newspaper.
