ORDINANCE NO.21
An ordinance amending section 2 of ordinance No.23 of the Village of
McCall,as passed and approved,relating to the creation of Local Sidewalk
Improvement District No.X ,of said village,and repealing said section 2
or said ordinance No.23.
Be it ordained by the Chairman and Board of Trustees
of the Village of McCall,Idaho:.
Section I. That section 2 of ordinance No.23 ,of the Village of McCall,
as passed and approved,relating to Local Sidewalk Improvement District
No.I ,as created therein,be and the same is hereby amended so as to read
as follows:
Said Local Sidewalk Improvement District No.I ,is created for
tie purpose of building lumber sidewalks ,abbutting and ajacent to real
A'operty on said streets ,and for the purpose hereof,the old sidewalks
on said streets are hereby declared dangerous and unsafe,and the same shall
be removed where lt is necessary to construct new sidewalks within the
proposed district as of oresaid,and new sidewalks shall be constructed
therein,along the streets between the points above mentioned.
S;Ad sidewalks to be made of lumber,two inches thick,and laid on 3 X
inch stringers ,two feet apart ,and shall be or the following widths:
Lake street IO feet ; both sidewalks on Lenora street 6 feet ; on
First street 6 feet ; both sides Second street 8 feet ; both eide�

Said sidewalks to extend to the established curb lines at street inter-
sections and to connect with street crossings and to conform to the
?rovisions of ordinance No. I6 ,as to slope and grade.
A detailed description of said sidewalks is shown in the plans and
specifications relating thereto now on file in the office of the
Village Clerk,of the Village of McCall,which plans and specifications
were prepared by a legally qualified engineer for the purpose of
showing the character and description thereof.
That the cost and expense of said sidewalks are hereby taxed and assessed
`'against the real property in front of which the same is constructed and
on the side of the streets where the improvements is to be made within
said Local Sidewalk Improvement District No.I ,in a sum not to exceed
$1773,99,for all labor and material.
Section 2.
That said section 2 of ordinance No.23,of the Village of
McCall,Idaho,as passed and adopted,is hereby repealed.
Section 3e
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passageyapproval and publication.
