Garrf # �y( rt,t� 100 LEAVES oRD IITI;NC E No AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF WATER WHICH IS OR BE SUPPLIED TO THE VILLAGE OF DdCCALL IDAHO OR ITS INHABITANTS FOR DOMESTIC OR IRRIGATING PURPOSES OR FOR FIFE PROTECTION STREET SPRINKLING OR OTHER PUBLIC PURPOSES. Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to in y way tamper with any water main, service pipe, faucet or stop cock, or other device located in or upon any of the streets, alleys Or public highways of the Village of McCall, Idaho, or upon anyprop- erty belonging to said Village, or to destroy or attempt to destroy any appurtenance to the waterworks equipment, or to cast anything into any resevoir, tank, well or spring used in connection with the water supply of said Village of McCall. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person, except t pwner of the property, or his duly authorized Agent, to in any way tamper with any service pipe, water connection, faucet, stop cock, hose, nozzle, sprinkler or other device located in or upon private property in the Village of McCall, Idaho, but the owner of any system supplying water to said Village and its inhabitants, or his duly authorized agent, shall have the right at all times during reasonable h►,urs to enter the premises of any patron of such system for the purpose of inspecting service pipes, water connections, faucets, stop cocks, hose, nozzles sprinkling or other watering devices. Section 3. It shall be unlawful for any patron of any water system supplying water to the said Village of McCall, Idaho or its inhabitants to waste water or allow it to be wasted by imperfect stops valves, leaky service pipes, hose or joints, or to allow tanks or watering troughs to overflow, or to wastefully run water from hydrants, faucets or s.Jps. Any one putting in their own pipe line must leave it open until some one duly authorized by the City Council has inspected the line and approves of the work. Section 4. It shall be unlawful for any one other than a duly authorized person to open or to operate any fire hydrant, orto tamper or interfere with or attempt to draw water therefrom, or toin any way obstruct RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS , 1ao Lv s QRDICE No 33 Continued- Section 5. All Lawn or Garden sprinkling or irrigation shall f be done between the hours oft six o'clock AM and eight thirty o'clock FM. Section 6. It shall be unlawful to use water for sprinkling or irrigation except through a nozzle with an opening not to exceed one fourth of an inch in diameter or a sprinkling device which shall not permit the use of more water than may be used through such nozzle, When not in use hose must be disconnected from tap and tap completely closed. Section 7. It shall be unlawful for any person to permit any water openings connected with any water system supply ing said Village of McCall, Idahoor its inhabitants with water to remain open during a fire. Section 8. Any person or persons violating any provisionof this ordinance shall, upon convitionz thereof, be punished by a finein any earn not exceeding one hundred dollars $100.00 or by imprisonment in the Tillage jail for a period not longer than thirty days. Section 9. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and due notice is given thereof according to law.
