AN •RDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RAISING OF REVENUE BY A
LICE E TAX UPON CERTAIN OCCUPATIONS AND BUSINESSES ,
PROVIDI G FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION THEREOF, PRE RIBING

• WHEREAS, it is deeme• expedient and necess- for the purpose of
raising revenue, that a license tax be impo d upoz1 pertain occupations
and businesses carried on or conducted wit `n the Village of McCall,
Idaho , in addition to other ta -s prescr bed by law,
Now, Therefore , be it ordained .y e Chairman and Board of Trustees
of the Village of McCall, Idaho:
Section 1. That a license ta is he. eby levied and assessed against

Section 2. That it shall be the duty of every person, firm,
co-partnership or corporation engaged in any of the foregoing businesses
or occupations to file an application for a license at least three days
after
before the beginning of the term or year as herein/provided in case
said business or occupation is then being carried on or conducted,
provided, however, that any business or occupation which shall be
commenced after the beginning of any term or year , said person, co-
partnership , firm or corporation shall apply for the license provided
for at least three days before engaging in or commencing such business

or occupation.
Section 3. The application provided for in Section 2 of this
ordinance shall be in writing and be filed with the Clerk of the Village
of McCall , and shall be in substantially the following form:
APPLICATION FOR LICENSE.

This application is accompanied with the tax provided for
in Ordinance Number 40 for the full term or year aforesaid.
Applicant.
Section 4. It shall be the duty of the Clerk of the Village of
McCall , Idaho, to keep on hand in his office printed forms of the
foregoing application, which shall upon request of any applicant for
a license be furnished said applicant without charge, and when said
application shall be properly signed and accompanied with the license
tax provided for in this Ordinance, for the full term or year in which
the application is made and filed with the said Clerk, the said Clerk
shall thereupon file said application in his office and issue to the
applicant a license in the following form:

the occupation or business of in the

Section 5. Any person, co-partnership, firm or corporation carrying
on or conducting ang business or occupation in violation of the terms
of this Ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined not less than $25.00 nor more than
$50.00 for each offense , and every day in which said business or
occupation may be carried on without a license shall be deemed a separate
offense and punishable as herein provided.
Section 6. This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and
after its passage , approval and publication.
