Section 1.•
That section 7 of Ordinance number 44 ,

passed by the chairman and board of trustees of the Village .�
of McCall , Idaho , on the 8th day of March, 1922 , and a proved �, . 0

by the Chairman of -the Board of Trustees of the Village of
McCall , Idaho , on the 8th day of March, 1922 , be end the same
is hereby amended to read as folows ;-
' Section 7. Any license granted hereunder may be 41+r:! ,
revoked by the Board of Trustees of the Village of McCall ,
Idaho , for the failure on the part of the licensee to comply
with any of the terms and pr ovisions of this ordinance by
� • said licensee to be complied with, provided that at least three s ~
days written notice be given to the licensee , signed by the i

Clerk of the Board and in which notice the grounds and cause

for the revocation shall be plainly and distinctly stated; and
if after due hearing the Board shall revoke such license such; '
revocation shall be final arid conclusive , ai ti- avert licensee 7 •

All such buildings , halls , rooms , pavilions

and other places in which dances are held , as well as all halls
. Olt
corridors and other rooms leading thereto , or connecting therewith,
shall at all times while open to the public be fully lighted and
no 'dimmers' or other like device shall be permitted; or shall
any booth, or rooms connected with or opening upon any main
dance hall where any dance is being carried on, to which the
public is admitted , other than rest or toilet rooms , be separated
or screened from the main ro.Im by curtains , screens , closed doors
or other device , and it shall be unlawful to permit , allow or
carry on or conduct any so-called dark or moonlight dances.
It shall be unlawful for any intoxicated pers n
to attend, dance at , or remain, or be permitted to attend , or Banc
or -remain at any place where a dance is being conducted.
No child under the age of sixteen (16) years '•T ,
shall be permitted to attend any public dance without the escort•

y. , of his or her parent , guardian or legal custodian , or unless

accompanied by an adult person with the written consent of a
parent , guardian ar legal custodian of such child, for his or
her attendance thereat.

No per son between the ages of sixteen ( 16) and
eighteen (18 ) years of age shall be permitted to attend or
- remain at any public dance without the written consent of
his or her pa rents , (or one of them guardian or legal
custodian; provided that any child between the ages of
sixteen ( 16) and eighteen ( 18) having no parent , guardian,
or legal custodian in McCall , Idaho , maybe 'admitted to0 '3 -

such dance upon the written consent of the Village Marshall
of the Village of McCall , Idaho or the Probate Judge of
Valley County , Idaho , or. any Probation Officer of said County
Every written consent required far the attendance of any person
at a dance shall be exhibited as a condition precedent to
the admission of such person thereto, and shall be taken up
by the person in charge of admitting persons to such dance ,
;:;';•.�-'` and within one week thereafter shall be filed by the licensee
of such dance with the Village Clerk and be kept as a public
record , provided, however, that any person required to exhibit
and slurren6 er such written consent having surrendered such
consent may be admitted to any dance thereafter unless written .
notice of the revocation of such consent .shall be filed with
the Village Clerk and written notice of the revocation of the
same be served by the said Clerk upon the licensee or persons

in charge of any dance where written consent id required for
admission. , .
Any person who shall directly , or indirectly, by .any

false representation obtain, or aid inobtaining admission, or
0 permission to attend any dance or remain thereat , in violation 7-1-
of this ordinance shall be deemed to be guilty of a misdemeanor A
and on conviction shall be punished as herein provided. .
All dances shall close at twelve (12.00) eieek o`clock
midnight , and all dance halls shall be closed 1* 12'.30 s

And the standard of time for such closing is hereby declared
to be the official time fixed by the Chairman and Board of
Trustees of the Village of McCall , Idaho , and at what is
commonly called 'Mountain Time'
It shall be unlawful for any person to smoke , or use tobacco il

in any form in, or spit on the floor of any public dance hall ,
t provided that smoking and. the use of tobacco may be permitted ,

. in any rest room connected with the main dance hall. 7
Nothing in this ordinance shall be deemed to apply to dances
in private homes."
Section 3. That section 11 of Ordinpm.e _!umber 44 ,
passed by the Chairman and Board of Trustees of the Village of
CMcCall , Idaho , on the 8th day of I.Iarch 1922 , and approved
by the Chairman of said Board on the 8th day of March, 1922 , _
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows ;-
'Section 11. / That any Peace officer of the Village
of McCall , Idaho , or of Valley County , Idaho , or of the
- - State of Idaho shall always have free access to public dances,7

and dance halls for the purpose of inspection and to enforce
compliance with the -provisions of this ordinance ,.
rSection 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in ',
conflict with theprovisions of this ordinance are hereby

repealed. '7r,
Section 5.This ordinance shall be in force and_ effect
