BETWEEN THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET AND THE LITTLE
CARTERET LEAGUE
WHEREAS, by Ordinance #81-10 dated March 19, 1981, the Borough of Carteret
(the "Borough") authorized a lease with the Little Carteret League, a non-profit
corporation of the State of New Jersey (the "League"), for the building and grounds
known as 183 Roosevelt Avenue, commonly referred to as Firehouse #2 and its
grounds; for a term beginning June 1, 1981 and ending May 3 l, 2080 (the "Lease");
and
WHEREAS, the League has indicated that they wish to terminate the Lease; and
WHEREAS, the Borough agrees to terminate the Lease;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Ordinance #81-10 is hereby
repealed in its entirety.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Mayor and Municipal Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute a lease termination agreement confirming said termination.
