AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE SALARIES OF VILLAGE OFFICERS AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE SAME: REQUIRING CERTAIN OFFICERS OF THE VILLAGE OF MCCALL TO GIVE BONDS AND REGULATING THE AMOUNTS THEREOF: AND RELATING TO THE OATH OF OFFICE OF VILLAGE OFFICERS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF McCALL: Section 1. ( Chief of Police. ) The Chief of Police , as such Chief of Police and as Ex-Officio License and Tax Collector, mad Overseer of Streets , shall be paid the sum of 4 / ,5 - per-' 4 ' a g month. (Assistant Police. ) The Assistant Police shall be paid such sums per month as may from time to time be decided upon by the Board of Trustees. ( Clerk and Auditor) . The Village Clerk as such Clerk and as Ex-Officio Auditor, shall be paid the sum of -�� w;5 .: per month. Section 2. All salaries of officers shall be paid monthly by warrant, upon verified claims filed with the Village Clerk and acted upon by the Board of Trustees as other claims against the Village. Section 3. The above salaries and compensation shall be in full of all services by such officers to said Village, and all fees authorized by law or ordinance and collected by said officers shall be by them paid into the Village Treasury for the use and benefit of said Village. Section 4. The Village Clerk, Chief of Police, Treasurer, and the Village Clerk as Ex-Officio Village Auditor, and the Chief of Police as Ex-Officio License and Tax Collector and Overseer of Streets, before entering upon the performance of their duties, shall enter into and execute to said Village good and sufficient bonds, signed by sureties acceptable to the Board of Trustees, conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of their respective offices according to law and r 2. the ordinances of said Village , which said bonds shall be in such sums as may be fixed by the Board of Trustees of the Village. The bonds of all officers, except those of the Clerk and Ex-Officio Village Auditor, shall, after being approved by the Board, be filed with the Village Clerk. The bonds of the Clerk and Ex-Officio Village Auditor shall, after like approval, be filed with and kept by the Village Treasurer. Sestion 5. The several officers of the Village of McCall shall each take and subscribe such oath as may be required by law of Village officers , before some person authorized to administer oaths, which oath shall be filed with the Village Clerk. No Village Officer shall enter upon the duties of his office until he shall have taken, subscribed and filed such oath. Section 6.
