" • AN ORDINANCE FIXING AN ANNUAL LICENSE FEE FOR THE
PHIVELEGE OF OPERATING A PASTIME IN THE VILLAGE OF McCALL,
DEFINING PASTIMES; FIXING DATE FOE PAYTT OF LICENSE FE+E

PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND DiECIA6LRING AN EVIERG1ECIE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE- OF McCALL, I DAHO:
SECTION 1. 1 DEFINITIONS.— As used in this Ordinance.
(a)
The word (Pastime) means any Pool and. Billiards v ,,,n
r--+d= - or Pool and Billiards and Card Boom.
(b) The word (person) includes any individual,Firm,
Co Partnership, Association corporation, er any group or
combination acting as a unit.
( c) The(License Year) shall begin on the first day
of July of each year and shall end at the close of the
thirtieth day o* June following.
SBOTION 2. Any person operating or desireing to operate a
• . Pastime in the Village oo McCall, must first apply to the
Clerk of the Village Board fora License so to do, and pay /_joe
with such application the License Fee herein prescribed.
Such application must be passed on and approved by the Board
of Trustees of said Village. Upon approval thereby such
License shall be issued to such person, which License at all
times be prominently displayed in the place of business of
such person.

SECTION-o. veryy person licensed under the provisions of
this Ordinance shall pay in advance to the Village Clerk _ Ae,a3
the sum of bO.00 per year,or for any fraction of a year,
which said License lee shall be paid annually on or before
the first day of July for each and every year thereafter.
SWUM 4. The Revenue derived from said licenses shall
be credited to the General Fund of the Village of McCall.
SECTION b. Licenses for Pastimes shall read as follows:

the Village of McCall, Idaho, for the term or year beginning

SECTION 6. No person or persons, firm or corporation
shall be eligible for a License, unless they be a
responsible party or parties of good character and
reputation, and a residence of McCall Idaho, for at
least one year next preceding the application for a

SECTION fi. Any person who violates any of the prov-
isions of this Ordinance shall be Guilty ot a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shal fined in
any sum: not less then 00.00 nor more then 100.O0 G ioa�
and costs. Upon failure to pay such fine will be
subject to imprisonment to not less then 25 days nor
more then 50 days in jail.
SECTION 8. If any portion of this Ordinance shall be
declared illegal by the District Court or the Supreme
Court of the State of Idaho it shall not invalidate
the other provisions thereof.
SECTION 9. i11 Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10. An emergency existing therefore which
emergency is hereby declared to exist , this Ordinance
shall bye in full force and effect from and after its
Passage, Approval and Publication.
