:IN ORDIN-;NCE GRANTING TO IDAHO POWER COMPANIT ITS SUCCESSORS,
AND ASSIGNS, Ai ELECTRIC LIGHT, HEAT AND POWER r'RANCtiISE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIRMAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF McCALI, VALLEY COUNTY, ID)AHO, THAT:
Section 1. There is hereby granters to Idaho Power Company, its
successors and assigns (herein called the Grantee), the right,
privilege or Tranchise until duly 1, 1994, to construct, maintain
and operate in the present and future streets,alleys and public
places t$ the village of McCall, Valley County, Idaho, and its
successors, electric light and power lines, together with all . -17E '
the necessary or desired appurtenances ( including underground
conduits, poles, towers, wires, transmission lines and telegrap4
lines and telephone lines for its own use ) , for the purpose of
supplying electricity to said Village, the inhabitants thereof
and persons and corporations beyond the limits thereof, for
light, heat, power and other purposes.
Section 2. Poles and towers shall be constructed in a good
• and substantial manner, and shall be so erected as to interfere
4s little as possible with traffic over streets and alleys. �°
The location of poles, towers and conduits shall be fixed under
k,:, the supervision of the Board of Trustees of the Village, but
not so as to interfere unreasonably with the proper operation
of the Grantee' s lines.
Section 3. The Grantee shall indemnify and save the Village
harmless from any and all expense or liability which may accrue �� .
to it by reason of the negligence or misconduct of the Grantee
in the construction, operation or maintenance of its system
hereunder.
Section 4. The Grantee shall bile with the Clerk of the
Board of Trustees of the Village an acceptance in writing of
this franchise, on or before thirty days after the final
passage hereof.
aection 5. This ordinance shall take effect upon approval
by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, acceptance as requir-
ed herein and published within one month after its passage.

Valley County, Idaho, this llth day of July, 1944.
