TO CORRECT THE LOT SIZE
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 97-28 in the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough")
declared Block 5.1, Lot 1.2 (the "Property") to be not needed for public use and
authorized its sale at public auction; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 97-28 inadvertemly and incorrectly stated the lot size
to be 14.578 acres; and
WHEREAS, the Property is actually 5.457 acres;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Borough Council of the Borough
of Carteret that Ordinance No. 97-28 is hereby amended to reflect the lot size of the
Property as 5.457 acres.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall be advertised as prescribed
by law.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
BE 1T FURTHER ORDAINED that upon passage of this Ordinance the Municipal
Clerk is directed to offer the Property for Sale at public auction in accordance with
law.
