THE" TO INCLUDE A MEMBER OF THE CARTERET BOARD OF
EDUCATION AS A NON-VOTING MEMBER
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the Borough of Carteret, County of
Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1.) Section 17-2 Member ship terms. Subsection A shall be amended to read in its
entirety:
"A. Said office shall consist of seven (7) voting members and one (1) non-
voting member."
2.) Section 17-2 Membership terms. Subsection B shall be amended to include a
new subsection number four (4) which shall read in its entirety"
"(4) The Carteret Board of Education shall annually appoint one (1) of its
members to serve as a non-voting member."
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final adoption and publication
according to law.
