Ocean Ridge also stated that they could not sign the contract until they hold a referendum some time this summer. There was a general discussion of'the requirements in our new fire contract that we adopt the Southern Standard Building Code. The commission authorized Mr. Lilienthal to prepare an ordinance adopting the Southern Standard Building Code with amendments as adopted by Palm Beach County. This would provide the Town with the same building code as Palm Beach County now usesq Mayor Koch further explained that in the future it may be possible to use the services of County building inspectors to enforce this ordinance and that the fees for such in- spection services bould be added to the cost of the building permits issued.
