A RESOLUTION TO AWARD THE BID FOR THE ORIGINAL TOWN URBANIZATION
PROJECT — PHASE THREE
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Tiffin received bids on December 14, 2023, for
the Original Town Urbanization Project — Phase Three; and,
Whereas, the City Council has identified the lowest responsive, responsible bid; and,
Whereas, the City Council wishes to award the project and begin the contractual
process,
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, to authorize
the Mayor and City Clerk to sign all necessary notices, documents and forms of contract
as required and necessary to execute a contract with the lowest responsive, responsible
bidder as identified and recommended by the Engineer as shown on the attached
documents.
On the 19th day of December, 2023, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Limkemann introduced RESOLUTION NO. 2023-084, A
RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR THE ORIGINAL TOWN URBANIZATION
PROJECT — PHASE THREE and made a motion to approve. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Schnedler.
Ayes: Olney, Orris, Schnedler, Limkemann, Havens.
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that RESOLUTION NO. 2023-084, A RESOLUTION TO AWARD BID FOR
THE ORIGINAL TOWN URBANIZATION PROJECT — PHASE THREE to be adopted
and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 19th day of December, 2023.
