AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF
GULF STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING
CHAPTER 66 OF THE TOWN CODE OF ORDINANCES AT SECTION
66-72, BOARD MEMBERSHIP, AT SUBPARAGRAPH (C) TERMS OF
OFFICE, PARAGRAPH (3) THEREOF TO RESCIND THE LANGUAGE
THEREIN PROVIDING FOR TERM LIMITS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF GULF
STREAM, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 66 of the Town Code of Ordinances is hereby amended at
Section 66-72 (c) Terms of Office, to read as follows:
(1) The term of office for each member shall be three years. All qualifying members
serving on the architectural review and planning board on the effective date of
the ordinance from which this article derives may, at the discretion of the town
commission, complete their terms according to their appointment.
(2) When a member is appointed to fill out the term of a departing member, that
person's term will end at the time the departing member's term would have
ended.

Section 2. All other provisions of Section 66-72 not amended in Section 1 above
shall remain intact.
Section 3. Repeal of Ordinances in Conflict.
All other ordinances of the Town of Gulf Stream, Florida, or parts thereof which
conflict with this or any part of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Codification.
This Ordinance shall be codified and made a part of the official Code of
Ordinances of the Town of Gulf Stream.
Section 5. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval, as
provided by law.
PASSED AND ADOPTED in a regular, adjourned session on first reading this
9th day of February , 2018, and for a second and final reading on this 9th
day of Larch , 2018.
